Groundwork begins at Scottish green hydrogen production facility

Scotland will soon gain a boost to its hydrogen prospects as Getech revealed today (April 27) groundwork has commenced at an Inverness green hydrogen production site.

The hub will have hydrogen production, storage and delivery infrastructure developed in the highland city. The partnership will undoubtably confirm future hub sites in the near future.

Demolition and clearance of the site is being undertaken by SGN, and is expected to take 12 weeks. Following completion of this work, Getech will begin the development of its planned green hydrogen facilities, subject to necessary approvals.
