H2 Green Steel signs €4.2bn debt financing agreements for Boden plant

Sweden’s H2 Green Steel has signed debt financing agreements for €4.2bn ($4.57bn), raised nearly €300m ($326m) in equity and secured a €250m ($272m) EU Innovation Fund grant.

The latest financing agreements take funding for its Boden green steel plant, with integrated green hydrogen and green iron production, close to €6.5bn ($7.08bn)

The definitive financing agreements see €3.5bn ($3.81bn) in senior debt and up to €600m ($653m) junior debt.
