H2 Green Steel’s Boden plant receives full environmental permit

H2 Green Steel has announced its received a full environmental permit for its green hydrogen production facility in Boden, Sweden.

The Land and Environmental Court in Umeå, Sweden, approved the grant today (June 1), after the permissibility permit was agreed a year ago to enable to start of construction. Now, the company has permission to begin operations at the plant.

The permit was completed following constructive cooperation between authorities, local communities and other reviewing stakeholders.
