Upon completion, the project will be the largest-of-its-kind to produce green hydrogen, producing 3,000 tonnes of hydrogen output annually, and will significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions for the region by nearly 27,000 tonnes annually
“When combined with recent technology breakthroughs, the lower cost of renewables, and carbon pricing, clean hydrogen is positioned to play a significant role in the energy transition,” said Jim Sarvinis, Managing Director, Power, Hatch.
“We’ve been evaluating different pathways for the production of hydrogen for our clients for years, and we’re ready to accelerate the growth of hydrogen on the international stage as we work to tackle climate change.”
