Hazer signs MoU to commercialise technology in Japan

Australian hydrogen producer Hazer Group is collaborating with global engineering firm Chiyoda Corporation on the commercialisation of its technology in Japan.

The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which also includes the development of low emission hydrogen production facilities.

Hazer said it has focused on markets that have strong support for the transition to a hydrogen economy and the uptake of hydrogen as a transport fuel.

The company is considering emerging premium low emission hydrogen opportunities in Asia, as well as identifying opportunities in markets such as the US (California) and Europe.
