High stakes for 45V guidance to cut emissions effectively, Hy Stor Energy CCO says

The stakes are high to get the Inflation Reduction Act’s (IRA’s) 45V clean hydrogen production tax credit (PTC) right to use taxpayer dollars to cut emissions effectively, Claire Behar, CCO of Hy Stor Energy, tells H2 View.

Behar’s comments come after the Green Hydrogen Catapult (GHC) called on US policymakers to include additionality, temporal and geographical matching requirements for electrolysers – referred to as the ‘three pillars’ – in the 45V PTC guidance, going against opposition views from other industry players.
