HVS begins Attribute Prototype manufacturing at Silverstone facility

Hydrogen Vehicle Systems (HVS) has begun manufacturing its Attribute Prototype (AP) test vehicles as it edges closer to hydrogen fuel cell HGV production.

Taking place in the UK at Fablink’s Silverstone, Northamptonshire facility, the two companies are collaborating to develop the prototype, with the support of manufacturing service partner HSSMI.

The first build of the prototype rigs has been completed at the Silverstone site and will be delivered to UTAC, Leyland for initial rig testing. Several other APs are now being manufactured; each unit being used to test specific attributes of truck design ahead of series production expected to start mid-decade.
