Hydrogen Vehicle Systems (HVS) will deliver 30 hydrogen-electric tractor units to Explore Plant & Transport Solutions.
Under the agreement, the hydrogen-powered vehicles will be deployed across the UK. A service and maintenance plan will also be provided, along with training on the safe use of hydrogen and refuelling, and the hydrogen fuelling infrastructure needed.
Explore supplies transport and plant hire services to UK customers within the aerospace, construction rail and nuclear industries. The company’s Operations Director, Chris Gatheridge believes hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles will “revolutionise” the long-haul and construction logistics sectors.
