Hydrogen apprenticeship scheme introduced by GeoPura and Siemens Energy

GeoPura and Siemens Energy have launched a hydrogen apprenticeship scheme to address the shortage of skilled personnel in the industry.

GeoPura has already recruited four new apprentice engineers who will begin a four-year scheme, working towards a Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. They will work alongside Siemens Energy, which has recruited 12 apprentices to work at its Newcastle facility.

The apprentices will undergo a comprehensive initiative, studying at the TDR Training Centre in Newcastle, at the Siemens Energy manufacturing facility. They will also be on-site with GeoPura engineers at locations across the UK to provide zero-emission power for various applications.
