Hydrogen fuel cell technology firm, Loop Energy has announced a new Director and Chair of its board with hopes of expanding market possibilities.
The British Columbia, Canada-based company revealed on Thursday (June 16) that Kent Thexton has taken up the role as Director and Chair of its board.
H2 View understands, former Chair, Dr. Andreas Truckenbrodt will continue as a director of the company.
Thexton, previously CEO and President of Sierra Wireless, a communications solutions company, is anticipated to leverage on his experience navigating public markets according to Loop Energy.
Thexton, commented, “I am excited to join Loop Energy and share my experience with the board and management team as we continue to grow.
“Andreas has done a tremendous job of guiding the company over the last few years, and I look forward to building on this success with him and the rest of the board.”
Loop Energy has established partnerships in North America, Australia, and Europe, to provide its hydrogen fuel cell solutions to be used in heavy-duty trucks and buses.
