Tevva Motors’ seven and a half tonne electric truck is set to be powered by hydrogen fuel cells supplied by Loop Energy as a result of a newly inked deal between the two firms.
Making strides in the European market, Loop Energy today (April 13) said it has won the tender process to supply the British electric and hydrogen truck manufacturer with its T5050 Series fuel cell system.
News of the deal follows a single unit order made by Tevva for Loop Energy in Q4 2021. Now, following the successful testing of the fuel cell system, Tevva has expanded the partnership for its zero-emission vehicle and ordered multiple units.
