Hydrogen projects set to receive a part of the EU’s €118m Innovation Fund

The European Union’s Innovation Fund is investing €118m ($139m) into 32 small innovative projects, related to low-carbon technologies such as hydrogen, located in 14 EU Member States, Iceland and Norway.

The grants will support projects aiming to bring low-carbon technologies to the market in energy intensive industries with hydrogen set to play a key role in achieving this.

In addition to these grants, 15 projects located in 10 EU Member States and Norway will benefit from project development assistance worth up to €4.4m ($5.2m) with the aim of advancing their maturity.
