Hydrogen technologies speeding into Le Mans in two years

The Automobile Club de l’Quest (ACO) has announced hydrogen technologies will be welcomed at the 24 hours race meeting of Le Mans by 2025-2026.

The ACO has been deploying its hydrogen strategy since 2018, providing a category dedicated to the technology at the endurance event.

MissionH24, GreenGT and partners of the programme, TotalEnergies, Michelin, Symbio, Plastic Omnium, Richard Mille, Dietsmann and Essilor, along with the FIA, will carry out research and validations to concretise the introduction in the race.
