Hydrogen wages lagging behind other clean energy technologies

Workers in hydrogen, wind and solar are earning 15-30% less today than their counterparts in other clean energy sectors, according to a new IEA report.

Wage differentials could create headwinds for worker transfers within the energy sector and could contribute to some workers switching out of the energy sector entirely, warns the World Energy Employment 2023 report.
