Norwegian-based HydrogenPro has today (March 20) revealed plans to more than double its electrolyser production capacity with a new 500MW plant in Texas, US.
An estimated $50m investment will be required to boost the company’s capacity to manufacture its high-pressure alkaline electrolyser technology and systems to 800MW in total.
The anticipated investment cost includes a separate advanced electrode manufacturing facility, which the company says represents a technology “game-changer” in its solutions offering.
