Hynion to rent hydrogen generator from Metacon

International energy technology company Metacon will lease a hydrogen generator to Hynion as part of a new agreement.

The reformer will have a capacity to produce about 40 normal cubic meters (Nm3) of hydrogen per hour – enough to fuel 25 to 30 hydrogen cars each day.

Upgraded biogas will be used as raw material for hydrogen production.

Hynion will pay a monthly fixed fee of NOK 20,000 based on an average capacity utilisation of 80%.
