Iberdrola, ACE Terminal and Gasuine to establish a European hydrogen corridor

Iberdrola, ACE Terminal and Gasuine have signed letters of intent (LoI) to establish a green hydrogen chain from Spain to the Netherlands.

Spanish company Iberdrola will export green ammonia to the Netherlands and supply it to European customers as hydrogen through ACE Terminal’s planned facilities in the Port of Rotterdam and Gasunie’s national hydrogen network.

The agreement’s were signed at the Iberdrola hydrogen plant in Portollano, Spain, attended by the Dutch King Willem-Alexander, Spanish King Felipe and Minister Rob Jetten for Energy and Climate.
