Iberdrola, Porcelanosa set to decarbonise ceramic production with green hydrogen
Iberdrola and Porcelanosa have together launched the GreenH2ker project that will electrify ceramic production by combining renewables, green hydrogen and heat pump technology into an oven in a Porcelonosa factory in Vila-real, Spain.
By making the changes to its combustion system, Porcelanosa will integrate green hydrogen generation with the efficient use of a heat pump to avoid 2,351 tonnes of CO2 a year.
