Infinite Green Energy and Samsung C&T partner on Western Australia green hydrogen plant

Australia’s Infinite Green Energy (IGE) has entered an agreement with Samsung C&T to jointly develop and build a green hydrogen plant in Arrowsmith, Western Australia.

Effective from today (May 17), the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will see Samsung C&T provide additional resources to deliver green hydrogen for export and domestic customers from the Arrowsmith project.

Set to initially produce 300 tonnes per day, it is hoped the site will help meet the expected growth in demand for green hydrogen in Asia Pacific markets such as a Japan and South Korea, as well as the domestic Australian market.
