The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has released its sixth assessment report with hydrogen highlighted as a necessary technology to scale in order to phase out fossil fuels.
The report outlines that more must be done immediately in order to prevent irreversible change in association to climate change and, without immediate and deep emissions reductions across all sectors, limiting global warming to 1.5°C is beyond reach.
