ITM Linde Electrolysis makes significant progress

The potential role that hydrogen can play in achieving ambitious emissions targets for industry was formally recognised with the announcement of an exciting new venture in the gas industry, ITM Linde Electrolysis (ILE).

A joint venture company between ITM Power and Linde Engineering, ILE will focus on providing global green gas solutions at industrial scale – 10MW and up – using ITM Power’s modular PEM electrolysis technology and Linde’s world class EPC expertise to deliver turnkey solutions to customers.

ILE pulls together world-leading hydrogen expertise, with Andreas Rupieper, Head of Group R&D and Portfolio Management at Linde, appointed as Managing Director of the company.

Since its incorporation in January, ILE has made significant progress with an operational centre established in Dresden, Germany and several full-time business development appointments made.
