ITM Power to expand UK facilities to ‘debottleneck’ fabrication, testing and validation

UK-based electrolyser manufacturer ITM Power has today (April 3) revealed it will expand its factory and office space at Bessemer Park in Sheffield, UK.

The expansion, of more than 83,000sqft, is intended to establish a dedicated R&D and product validation centre for future technology developments, which ITM says will enable it to use the existing fabrication space more effectively for “higher volume output.”

In March this year (2023) ITM announced it would increase its power supply to the site by 300% to 30 megavolt amperes (MVA) by the end of 2024.
