Japanese trio target Thai biogas-to-hydrogen production

Toyota Motor Corporation, Toyota Tsucho and Mitsubishi Kakoki Kaisha have today (June 26) revealed plans to introduce biogas-to-hydrogen production equipment in Thailand.

The Japanese trio has said the equipment, manufactured by Mitsubishi Kakoki, will be installed in Thailand in November this year (2023) to produce hydrogen from biogas derived from local chicken manure and food waste.

Biogas is created by the decay of organic substances by microorganisms which can be used to produce clean fuels including hydrogen.
