KBR will assess scenarios for alternative hydrogen-based energy sources to supply new data centre investment and deployment in Singapore, the company confirmed today (27th Jan).
Sharing details of the news, KBR said it was awarded the study from Keppel Data Centres, a company which last year partnered with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Asia Pacific to explore the implementation of a hydrogen-powered tri-generation plant concept for data centres.
