Levidian’s “ultra-green” hydrogen production technology

Levidian’s methane-to-hydrogen and graphene technology LOOP has been described as ultra-green, by Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Ian Hopkins.

The LOOP10 system uses a low-temperature, low-pressure process to crack methane into hydrogen and carbon, eliminating the need for catalysts and additives.

The company recently agreed to supply the technology to Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company (Tadweer), to tackle emissions from one the largest landfill sites in the UAE capital. The project is estimated to deliver 40% emissions reduction from the site.
