Liebherr-Aerospace to support Airbus’ hydrogen-powered aircraft

Liebherr-Aerospace will supply an air supply system for Airbus’ hydrogen-powered aircraft ZEROe.

Airbus aims to develop the world’s ‘first’ hydrogen-powered aircraft by 2035 and will utilise Liebherr’s system, dedicated to the propulsion of the demonstrator aircraft.

Liebherr has designed and delivered a functional air supply system demonstrator with the power of 1MW to Airbus’ testing facilities, as part of the project’s first phase.
