Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and LOTTE Chemical Corporation are entering discussions to finalise agreements for the supply, purchase and sale of clean ammonia to LOTTE from CIP’s US and Australian projects.
Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the two will explore the offtake of blue ammonia from CIP’s St. Charles Project in Louisiana, US, and green ammonia from its Murchison Project in Australia.
CIP and Sustainable Fuels Group’s jointly owned St. Charles Clean Fuels in April 2023 announced plans to explore the feasibility of building a $4.6bn blue ammonia production and export facility.
