Luxfer Gas Cylinders to power 10 E-Trucks refuse trucks with hydrogen

Luxfer Gas Cylinders is accelerating its partnership with E-Trucks Europe by powering 10 zero-emissions hydrogen refuse trucks – and claims each vehicle saves 30,000kg of carbon dioxide each year.

The fleet is currently being used in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, where all waste collection vehicles must be zero-emission by 2030.

The move marks the next phase of an evolving nine-year partnership. E-Trucks’ first three hydrogen waste collection trucks were built in 2018.
