Luxfer Gas Cylinders has developed the G-Stor® Hydrosphere, designed to support the sustainable transportation of hydrogen via virtual gas pipelines.
The Luxfer Holdings company’s collection of Multiple Element Gas Containers (MEGCs) was launched during the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam.
The solutions draw on Luxfer’s Type 4-cylinder technology and will be available in 20 ft and 40 ft units. They are expected to store and transport one tonne of hydrogen, maximising payload and providing the best price per kg of hydrogen.
