Motive Fuels closes two London hydrogen refuelling stations

Motive Fuels on Tuesday (May 2) announced it will close two of its hydrogen refuelling stations in London, UK, saying it is refocusing its core business on commercial vehicle refuelling.

The stations at Rainham and Teddingham will close on May 26, 2023. Motive said after a recent review of its station performance it does not see “sufficient demand to support the investment needed to continue the station operation.”

Opened in 2016, the stations have provided hydrogen to cars around the UK capital.
