National Grid launches historic decarbonisation strategy to integrate hydrogen blends in Massachusetts and New York by 2050 or sooner

The National Grid has today (April 19) launched a new strategy for Massachusetts and New York, US, aiming to integrate 100% hydrogen blends by 2050 or sooner.

The plans aim to decarbonise the regions gas grids by integrating complete hydrogen blends and renewable natural gas (RNG) to fully support the green revolution in the US.

This will help to electrify domestic heat in those targeted areas.
