Nearly half of global energy consumers would consider hydrogen use in homes, study finds

A new study has revealed that nearly half of global consumers would consider a hydrogen energy solution in their homes.

GHD, a professional services company, has released the findings of a survey it conducted that has found that approximately half of consumers in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, UK and the US would consider a hydrogen boiler or battery for homes.

The hydrogen boilers use the zero-emission fuel instead of natural gas to heat water for domestic use.

The survey consists of results from more than 8,000 people from across the world to assess how changing attitudes and behaviours could influence the global energy mix.
