NEOM calls on engineering firm to support the export of green hydrogen

It was announced today (June 28) that the Saudi Arabian green hydrogen project, NEOM, has called on ABL Group’s Longitude Engineering to provide engineering support to Air Products to export green hydrogen.

Aimed at building the ‘world’s largest’ green hydrogen production facility from local onshore wind and solar power, the NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC), is planning to export hydrogen in the form of ammonia.

Air Products has appointed Longitude to support the engineering of an export jetty and the interface between ammonia tankers and the jetty, H2 View understands.

The contract, for which the price has not been disclosed, outlines for Longitude to carry out front end engineering design (FEED) through to support during construction, which is hoped to be completed by the end of 2024.
