A new hydrogen-powered light-duty commercial vehicle is under development in Vancouver, Canada.
Details of the development were unveiled by First Hydrogen on Monday (August 10), with the company stating that it will own the commercial rights for the vehicle design.
Ballard and AVL Powertrain are also involved in the development, and both parties have a key role to play in the manufacturer and supply of key components for the car.
Having inked a definite agreement with First Hydrogen, Ballard Power Systems will provide support and integration of its hydrogen fuel cell module for the prototype.
