A new weekly ‘news and advice memo’ has been launched dedicated to the fast-changing hydrogen policy landscape in the UK.
Beyond2050, a London-based communications agency that works exclusively in hydrogen policy, has been developing the concept since January and says UK parliamentarians, Whitehall officials, journalists, and a wide range of industry stakeholders have already signed up.
Called HY NEWS, the weekly service identifies the ‘three top things to know about hydrogen policy in the UK’, and features explainers for ‘Why this matters’ and ‘What you could do next’.
Rob Dale, the producer of HY NEWS and founder of Beyond2050 – and regular H2 View columnist – said, “Now the PM has declared himself a ‘hydrogen nut’ and that the UK will be putting a big bet on hydrogen, the pace of change in hydrogen policy seems to accelerate every week. Hydrogen is now mainstream in Westminster.”
“Because things are moving so fast, we know it can be difficult to keep track of all the developments and opportunities to engage in the policy making process.
“We at Beyond2050 spend all our time deeply engaged in these processes and monitoring government and parliament, so we wanted to create a concise service to share our insight and offer simple, practical advice.”
