New report finds potential use for hydrogen generators at festivals

A new report has revealed today (April 22) that audiences would be willing to support festivals using hydrogen-powered generators as opposed to diesel variants.

According to the University of Edinburgh report, commissioned by PlusZero and the Scottish Government, saw support the clean energy carrier as a means to provide zero-emission power to festivals.

When asked whether or not the audience had a desire for hydrogen generators to be used at festivals near to them or festivals they associate with, three-quarters of participants (75.68%) answered yes, 3% answered no, whilst the remaining 21.32% answered don’t know.
