Siemens Energy and Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) have today (Sep 14) revealed a new partnership that will explore producing green hydrogen and using it in power generation.
South Korea is moving at scale and speed to develop a hydrogen economy and the alliance of these two firms is expected to support the country’s efforts towards a climate-neutral future.
Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Siemens and KOGAS will collaborate on a demonstration project for large-scale domestic green hydrogen production and supply; hydrogen turbine power generation; joint research for overseas green hydrogen production and transport strategies; and technological development to secure competitiveness in the hydrogen business.
