Next Gen H2 crowned the US’ first hydrogen ETF

Next Gen H2 ($HDRO) has been named the first hydrogen exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the US.

Exchange-traded funds sponsor and registered investment advisor Defiance EFT announced the news this week (10th March), stating it has seen hydrogen take on a larger role as a viable energy source.

Listed on the New York Stock Exchange, HDRO will give investors exposure to companies involved in the development of hydrogen-based energy sources and fuel technologies.

Commenting on the news, Paul Dellaquila, President of Defiance ETFs, said, “We’re already starting to see hydrogen take on a larger role as a viable energy source.”
