Nikola awarded further $16.3m for California hydrogen refuelling network

Nikola on Monday (July 31) announced it had been awarded a further $16.3m to support a network of seven refuelling stations in California, US.

The latest award including $1.6m from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee, $7m from Sacramento Metro AQMD, $4.4m from South Coast AQMD and $3.3m from EnergIIZE West Sacramento California Energy Commission, contributing to a total of $58.2m of grants to support the network.
