Norwegian Hydrogen to fuel zero-emission fishing vessel

Norwegian Hydrogen has agreed to deliver green hydrogen to an emission-free fishing vessel dubbed Skulebas.

The vessel was delivered to Vestland County Council in Norway earlier this year and used in the training of students at Måløy High School’s programme for fisheries, aquaculture and maritime subjects.

Equipped with the latest technology, Skulebas is expected to be ready for hydrogen operation during 2024, utilising Norwegian Hydrogen’s green hydrogen factory in Hellesylt, which targets a production capacity of 1,300kg per day.
