OceansLab’s hydrogen racing boat reaches its final construction phase

OceansLab IMOCA has announced the construction of the hull onboard its hydrogen-powered racing boat has been completed.

The project is now entering its latter stages with its final systems installation phase, as it prepares to take part in the transatlantic race, Retour à la Base.

The 60-foot boat will now be transferred from Pauger Carbon Composites boatyard to Black Pepper Yachts in Nantes, France, to complete its final fill-out, with hydrogen integration specialists Genevos installing the complete energy system.
