‘One of the worlds largest’ hydrogen storage project’s progresses in Humber, UK

Energy giants Equinor and SSE Thermal have unveiled today (Jan 17) that two key contracts have been awarded to enable the development of a proposed hydrogen storage facility in the Humber, UK.

With Atkins and Environmental Resources Management (ERM) set to develop “one of the world’s largest hydrogen storage facilities in the world”, the companies said, it highlights the progression that the UK hydrogen economy is undertaking.
