Panasonic to cut emissions with newly announced commitment

Panasonic Corporation wants to cut the carbon emissions of all its operating companies to net zero by 2030, as it looks to build a more sustainable future with the support of various clean technologies such as hydrogen.

The Japanese firm made its announcement on Tuesday (Jan 4) with the launch of Panasonic GREEN IMPACT, a landmark commitment for the company which will cut emissions from business operations and Panasonic’s whole value chain.

As H2 View heard in an exclusive interview with Panasonic back in April (2021), the company has long been researching hydrogen energy technology to make a positive impact and contribute to decarbonisation.
