Hydrogen-powered heavy-duty truck innovator, Hyzon Motors, revealed on Wednesday (August 17), the company’s board had appointed Parker Meeks as President and Interim Chief Executive effective immediately.
Meeks who had most recently had served as Hyzon’s Chief Strategy Officer, steps up to the senior positions as Craig Knight leaves his role of Director, and George Gu will transition to non-executive Chairman of the Board.
H2 View understands, during his tenure as interim boss, Meeks will receive strategic counsel from Gu related to R&D initiatives. Additionally, the board plans to initiate a search to identify potential external and internal candidates to serve as the company’s next CEO.
