Peugeot, Citroën and Opel hydrogen-powered vans to be mass produced

Hydrogen-powered versions of the Peugeot Expert, Citroën Jumpy, and Opel Vivaro are set to be mass produced, following an investment at a French manufacturing plant.

Automotive giant, Stellantis revealed today (October 27) that it will be investing in its Hordain, France plant, to see up to 5,000 of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicles produced each year.

With intentions to see the vans produced at the Hordain plant from 2024, Stellantis has made a €10m investment to establish a new facility at the site to house the new hydrogen operations, which it says received financial support from the French Government.
