Planning permission approval for Scottish distillery’s hydrogen plans

A Scottish distillery has received planning permission for to establish green hydrogen production equipment, including a wind turbine.

Arbikie Distillery, near Montrose, Angus, Scotland, revealed in November 2021, it had received £3m ($3.6m) from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s (BEIS) Green Distilleries competition, to see green hydrogen used in its distilling process.
