Plug Power confirms job cuts as part of $75m cost reductions

Plug Power has announced jobs cuts as part of a plan designed to reduce its annual operational expenses by more than $75m.

Expected to be carried out through a one-time implementation cost of $15m, Plug has said it will emphasise its “commitment to operational excellence and fiscal responsibility.”

As part of the plans, the green hydrogen player has said that it will undertake “strategic workforce adjustments” to preserve its “agility and innovation capacity.”
