Plug Power losses grow to $236.4m in Q2 2023 while recording largest quarterly revenue

Plug Power has reported net losses grew to $236.4m in Q2 2023 while recording its largest quarterly revenue of $260.2m.

Its results revealed on Wednesday (August 9) its net loss grew to $236.4m from a loss of $173.3m in Q1 2023, however, the company has reaffirmed its 2023 revenue guidance of $1.2bn-$1.4bn.

Plug has said, “Certain factors within the fuel and equipment line items, primarily related to the expansion of manufacturing and the introduction of numerous new offerings, led to only a modest sequential increase in corporate gross margins during Q2”
