Plug to provide BEDP services to 3GW Australian green ammonia project

Plug Power has agreed to support the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) of Allied Green Ammonia’s (AGA) 3GW project and integrate its electrolysers for hydrogen-to-ammonia production.

Plug will collaborate on AGA’s planned ammonia facility in the Northern Territory of Australia, expected to have a capacity of 2,700 tonnes per day, subject to Final Investment Decision (FID).

Under the Basic Engineering and Design Package (BEDP), Plug will incorporate its electrolysers for the hydrogen-to-ammonia facility, which will enable the project owners to reach FID, which is planned for Q4 2025.
