Germany continues to showcase to the world the level of commitment needed to ensure the hydrogen sector grows not just domestically but around Europe.
Hot on the lips of many within the German political scenes is hydrogen, a decisive new clean energy carrier that, with its diverse attributes, is capable of decarbonising many different hard-to-abate sectors.
To find out more about the political scene in regards to hydrogen, H2 View spoke with Susanne Ungrad, Press officer for Energy Policy and Industrial Policy at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in Germany.
Ungrad told H2 View, “For the BMWi, hydrogen is a strategically important future technology on the way to achieving the EU’s climate targets and a central element for reducing CO2 emissions in the industrial and transport sectors.
